HorseSense HorseManShip offers a few different services for You and Your Horse.
Special Ability HorseManShip: Our main focus is on people with special abilities. Individuals of all ages and abilities are welcome to come learn horsemanship and benefit from being with horses.
Able Bodied HorseManShip: We also offer riding and horsemanship lessons for able bodied riders. We have worked with children and adults, improving their riding skills. We teach both rider and horse to enjoy each other more, communicate with each other better and have a great riding experience
Teaching You to teach Your horse is a specialty of the trainer. Using gentle “work with your horse” methods you can train your own horse. Start in the round pen with the horse learning ground manners and leading, advancing to saddling and the first ride. Move into the arena for continuing riding lessons and end up riding on the trail outside.
Boarding is also available. There are outside paddocks where a single horse or 2 horses with the same owner can live. There are also large pastures available with a larger herd of horses. Hay and fresh water is supplied. Daily visits by the management ensure the horses are well and healthy. Services such as training and health care are available at additional cost. You arrange for your own farrier or vet. Staff is available if you are not able to be with your horse, during the appointment. Management of the ranch is provided by men who have years of experience with horses, training and care of horses. You will be notified of any needs that your horse has. Emergency care will be provided while you call the vet and arrange for a farm visit. Transportation to the vet is also available.
